For a species who's society and culture is perceived as one of beauty, Twi'leks have been torn apart by their own ideals and ways of life. Yes, Twi'leks are a beautiful species. Many of their kind assume the roles of nobility and entertainers across the known galaxy. However, their society is torn by a battle of the sexes, with Ryloth's male-dominant culture causing a rift between themselves and their female counterparts who have taken it upon themselves to pursue freedom from a slave-ridden lifestyle. This pursuit of liberty has taken a turn for the worse with large numbers of members from different Twi'lek communities across Ryloth having to relocate onto a brand new world.

Led by a former Twi'lek Matriarch, Twi'lek pilgrims underwent a long two-decade search for a new place to call home. After many encounters with Twi'leks who opposed the pilgrims' views, they have finally relocated from Ryloth to the Jedi-occupied world of Tython. The relocation has been viewed as coincidence, but the former Matriarch believes it to be an act of destiny. However, has destiny finally brought peace to the Twi'lek pilgrims in their Kalikori Village on Tython? I will reveal the details and the persona behind the pilgrim movement in this Central Broadcasting News Service report.
